Thank you all for joining the 7th cycle of the CUNY/IVE Leadership Program. This semester we'll be using this social networking site to stay in touch. This way we'll be able to share our project ideas, draw new members to your teams, or help others who have a question or problem. Let me give you a brief idea about the milestones that we will be facing over the next couple of months:

o Attendance at the Kick-Off Event on January 30, 2009 at Baruch College
o Posting of Project Identification and Goals (posted on group pages by February 16, 2009)
o Project Description and Outline (posted on your group page on this site by March 23, 2009)
o Working in a Team of 2 - 10 Students
o Assignment of Coach by IVE by March 9, 2009
o Active Communication with Coach
o Project Status Report (reviewed with Mentor/Coach and posted on discussion forum by April 20, 2009)
o Project Final Report by May 24, 2009 (Text Document, PowerPoint, etc.)
o Participation in Final Competitive Event ; Project Presentations: May 27, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm
o Active Participation in Online Discussions
o Voluntary Participation in Workshops (tba)
o Proposal For Funding by June 12, 2009
