The Program and Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship

Dear Student Leaders,

Thank you all for joining the 8th cycle of the CUNY/IVE Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship Program. We will be using our own social network to share our project ideas, draw new members to your teams, and help others who have a question or problem. Let me give you a brief idea about the milestones that will guide us over the next couple of months:

o Attendance at the Kick-Off Event for certificate students January 29, 2010 at Baruch College
o Working in a Team of 2 - 10 Students
o Posting of Project Identification and Goals (posted on group pages by February 16, 2010)
o Coaching by IVE Staff and Partners
o Project Description and Outline (posted on your group page on this site by March 23, 2010)
o Project Status Report (reviewed by IVE Staff and posted on discussion forum by April 20, 2010)
o Project Final Report by May 24, 2010 (Text Document, PowerPoint, etc.)
o Participation in Final Competitive Event (May 2010)
o Voluntary Participation in Workshops and Roundtables (tba)
o Proposal For Funding by June 12, 2010

Good luck this semester and I am looking forward to working with you!
